The cities whose stadia will host the games of EURO 2008 (provided of course that the greek-turkish joint bid will be successful) were officially presented by the organizing committee yesterday. It was confirmed that the final will take place in the Athens OLYMPIC STADIUM.
Apart from that, three more greek stadia will be used: KAFTANZOGLIO STADIUM in Thessaloniki, PANPELOPONNESIAN STADIUM in Patras and PANCRETAN STADIUM in Heraklion. As one can clearly see, these are the same stadia that will be used in the 2004 Olympics. Finally, the four turkish cities that will host games of EURO 2008 are Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir and Antalya.
