Paida, whats the latest with Harilaou?? Have they begun upgrading it, in particular the west stand? I was very happy to see the plans of the stadium, it was much needed... I was wondering if they have been working on it, or if it the plans had been scrapped. Also, will it be ready in time for the Olympics, so they can train there? And my last question, what will the new capacity be?

An update on Harilaou along with photos shot just yesterday is coming up soon. What I can tell you for now is that the demolition of the old west stand has begun. |

Admin as usual you are on top of the situation and I (we all) appreciate the time you take to give us all the latest news.
One question. Will the capacity change at all with the present works and will the outside and surrounding area also be included in the upgrade?
Thanks |

I don`t have any official info about the new capacity of the stadium but from what I can see from the plans, the stadium will be a bit bigger.
It looks like that the new capacity will be around 20-21000 people...
As you can see from the next photograph the outside view of the stadium it will change too...
I dont know about the surrounding area... |

Chris, so we meet again.
It will be nice for the stadiums in Thessaloniki to get the upgrades. Both Harilaou and Toumba will receive improvements, however it remains to be seen if all the work that was promised in the beginning will materialize. |

Hey Ziaka. lol
If you go to the Greek forums, in the regular gipedo forum, you will see that Harilaou has started... they started tearing it down so they can begin building the new stand. |
