The stadium is located in the town of Corfu (Kerkyra in Greek),
on the namesake island. You may reach Corfu by boat from Igoumenitsa
or Patras on the Greek mainland, as well as from many Italian ports.
The island has an international airport. The stadium itself is located
south of the town, right next to the airport. It is therefore very
easy to find it. You may also get there by using bus
#2 that goes to Kanoni. Get off at the stop on Garitsa Bay and walk
to the stadium (300m).

More
data: The stadium is part of the Kerkyra National Sports Centre.
It has two stands along the sides of the pitch: a larger western and
a smaller eastern one. The latter was constructed in 1973 and little
much happened for the next 30 years at the stadium. You may see some
photos of Kerkyra Stadium that were previously on this page: 1,

Floodlights were installed in 2003, while the stadium became an all-seater in 2005, when both stands were covered by plastic seats. However, it is pretty obvious that Kerkyra Stadium is in urgent need of redevelopment. There has been talk for many years now about the construction of a roof over the main west stand, but nothing has happened. Another vital addition is scheduled to be completed within 2007: a new north stand is being constructed, something much needed as matches at Kerkyra are a regular sell-out. |

stadium is owned by the General Secretariat of Sports.
